Olix Oil International is a newly created (2011) company that is active in all aspects of the olive oil industry.

It has two main areas of activity: Edible and Non Edible Oils.

Its edible oil activities produce olive oil, bottle it and trade it around the world.

Its non edible oil activity treats by products of the olive oil extraction process and turns them into valuable products contributing to the environment.

  Pavlos N. Vardinoyannis

  MANAGING DIRECTOR

  Pavlos Vardinogiannis has been Managing Director of Olix Oil International since its creation. He has had 25 years of experience in the trading world, having been active in oil, aluminum and copper trading as well as in the establishment of distribution networks in the automotive and oil sectors in a number of Eastern European countries. In addition to his activity in Olix Oil, Mr Vardinogiannis is currently chairman of M&M Gas, Greece's only privately held Natural Gas trader.

  Manolis Triantafyllou

  CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

  Manolis Triantafyllou has more than 24 years experience holding key positions in the management of well-known enterprises of the public and private sector in Greece and abroad. Before joining Olix Oil Ltd, Manolis was a member of the board at Hellenic Post and was serving as a consultant to the managing director. He also held positions at Mytilinaios Group and Vardinoyannis Group where he has been involved in the management of key operating units.

  Vassilis Polizogopoulos

  CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

  Vassilis Polizogopoulos has more than 25 years experience in the finance departments of large companies, mainly in the IT sector. From 1987 to 2004 he was employed at Singular S.A., a market leader in software services in Greece. He started as an accountant and became the deputy CFO of the Group as well as the CFO of all subsidiaries. From 2007 to 2009 he was the CFO of Theros International S.A., an American entertainment company. After this, he became the CFO of the startup company Aegean Power and, subsequently, the CFO at PEC Entreprises SA. Before joining Olix Oil.

  Panagiotis Kougias

  PLANT MANAGER (PATRAS PLANT)

  Panagiotis Kougias has 17 years experience as a Chemical Engineer in both the chemical and food sectors. He is a specialist in Production Management and Quality Control Assurance and has implemented best industrial practices such as JIT, TQM, MRP and Lean Manufacturing. For more than 10 years he has worked for Elaiourgiki COOP, the Central Cooperative Union of Greek Olive Oil Producers, as the Olive Oil Factory Production and Technical Manager in Elefsina (Attica Area).

  Prodromos Saliagas

  PURCHASING MANAGER

  During his 25 years experience, Prodromos had responsibilities as Sales and Purchasing Manager in well known companies as Elaiourgiki Central Cooperative Union of Olive Products, Sclavos Fabric Dyeing Machines manufacturer, etc. In parallel, he became an expert in quality Assurance, implementing systems (like A.S.M.E. code American Society of Mechanical Engineers and Qualified for ISO 9001:2008 Appreciation and International Training Course in several companies he worked for. He joined Olix Oil in 2013. Prodromos is an engineer, graduated from the Greek Naval Academy.

  Isabelle Cros

  MARKETING MANAGER

  Isabelle has more than 25 years of experience in Marketing and Sales in large and multinational FMCG and retail companies. She worked as a Marketer for almost 10 years in the cosmetics industry (L'Oreal, Sarantis ABEE). The following 8 years she headed the commercial department of Linette SA (Diapers company with 2 producing units in Greece and Cyprus) .She created the brand Public (multistores retail chain of technology, books and music products) and headed the Marketing and Communication department.

  Eleni Karapanou

  HR MANAGER

  Eleni Karapanou has more than 15 years experience in HR. She started her career as an HR Consultant. For almost five years she served the Group HR division of the Mytilineos Group of Companies. She had the chance to build and implement HR systems from the very beginning, managing culture and internal communication. Over the last two years Eleni was part of Linkage Team, a Leadership & Development Company, as Senior Consultant & Assessor, specialising in the execution of HR Projects. Eleni holds a MSc in Engineering Management and a BSc (Hons) in Management Studies focusing on HR.

• Olive Pressing

  The company is currently refurbishing a newly acquired olive oil pressing facility near Sparta, the source of some of the top olive oils in the world.

  
  
  

  

• Pomace Oil Extraction

  The company has recently agreed to acquire one pomace oil extraction facility which will be fully functional soon.

  
  
  

  

• Bottling

  The olive oil bottling unit is located in the industrial area of Tripoli Peloponnese, olive oil producing area from ancient times.
  
  The oil is stored in perfect conditions, process which secures the quality of olive oil.
  
  Olix Oil bottling facilities are state of the art and ensures storage, bottling and packing in the best conditions.
